Thank you so much for joining us this past Wednesday for District Governor Alex “Alpo” Portelli’s visit. DG Alpo led us in a spirited discussion about the many ways that we can show up in our communities, and in our district as people of action committed to the betterment of each other and our world. He charged us with continuing to grow our membership with active Rotarians, dedicated to service above self, as well as to remember the Rotary International Foundation, which funds programs and change for the better all over the world. He asked us to give from our hearts and to give what we can. DG Alpo also reminded us to always keep public image in mind and to share what we do and what Rotary is about with our community. We are so grateful for our DG Alpo’s visit and the energy, motivation and caring example that he left with us.
This week we will have our first club assembly. Please come ready to share your own gifts and talents and find a place amongst the many opportunities that we have as to connect with one another and give to our community, which our Rotary provides.
I am looking forward to seeing you all on Wednesday.
Thank you,
Trudie.
