Weekly Newsletter (Oct 31, 2026)

Fellow Rotarians,

Our Rotary Club Is Going Global!

Following last Wednesday’s inspiring presentation by Faith Stearns, founder of Back to Play NC, I’m delighted to share some wonderful news!

Thanks to Ellen’s additional contribution toward the bags, our Denver/Lake Norman Rotary Club logo will now appear on all 500 bags!

These bags provide comfort and encouragement to children experiencing disasters and other crises, and may be distributed around the world. Just imagine our Club’s name and the Rotary wheel reaching children thousands of miles from Lake Norman!

I’m also grateful to Cindy, who made a generous donation to support the organization’s other needs.

It's a wonderful reminder that even a small Rotary Club can make a difference far beyond its own community.

Until next Wednesday, may something good happen because you were there.

Ross

We are so grateful to announce that Denver/Lake Norman Rotary will once again support the USO in their “Holiday for the Troops” Campaign.

Our own Jim Minor, will be collecting donations throughout November for the 2026 “Helmet Fund.”

Our club raised a record $1651 last year for this worthy cause.
