Greetings, Denver/Lake Norman Rotarians!
It's been quite a week, hasn't it? I hope everyone knows now that we are moving to a new meeting venue, St Peter's Church in Denver. Thank you to all of our Board members and committee chairs that participated in the decision making process. We really do have a truly dedicated team that is working to make Denver/Lake Norman Rotary as successful as it can be.
As I type this, I am hoping that my mobile hotspot is sufficiently fast to publish and get this week's newsletter out to you. But as you have probably heard, there are multitudes from Tampa/St. Petersburg to Asheville that are far worse off than us due to the historic devastation that resulted from this storm. Please keep those who were affected by it in your thoughts. As of this writing on Sunday afternoon, work is being done at the District level to assess the needs of those in western North Carolina and what we as Denver/Lake Norman Rotary can do to help. Stay tuned for more info.
In the meantime we have a Board meeting this Friday, October 4th, 7:30 am at Ross's office where we will take a formal vote on our new location.
See on Wednesday at St Peter's!
