Fellow Rotarians,
Fall is my favorite season to decorate. I love the rich reds, warm golds, earthy browns, and burnt oranges.
Halloween decorations? Strongly dislike them. Perhaps it’s the orange and black combination. Or perhaps I simply refuse to purchase cobwebs when my house produces them for free.
Give me pumpkins, mums, and a welcoming front porch. I want people to feel comfortable approaching my door, without wondering whether something will scream at them.
That welcoming feeling matters at Rotary, too. A warm greeting, an open seat, and a little conversation can make someone glad they showed up.
Let’s bring that warmth Wednesday. I’ll even welcome you if you're wearing orange and black.
Until next Wednesday, may something good happen because you were there.
