Email from Jay Flynn of the Denver Fire Department:

Good Afternoon,

As in years past, the Denver Fire Department hopes to be Neighbors Offering Encouragement & Love through our annual NOEL project this Christmas Season. Unfortunately for the second year now, NOEL will be much different however because of the issues surrounding COVID-19.  We are again working with our local elementary schools and social services to identify families in need of help from NOEL for 2021. With COVID, we will unfortunately not have a  face-to-face experience with the families, but intend to be just a much of a blessing to them.
Remember, NOEL is so much more than toys and encompasses the entire family to help make a tangible difference in people's lives. It is only through the generosity of our local community members and business leaders such as yourself that we can do so much for those in need during this special time of year.  As in years past, I humbly ask you to consider supporting DFD Operation NOEL again this year. If you choose to do so, checks may be mailed to the Denver Fire Department or dropped off by our Headquarters station and should be made out to Denver Fire Department with Operation NOEL noted in the memo line.
